The winner of the tournament was Daniel Macioł (POL), who defeated Sanjin Pechlivanović (BIH) 8:7 in the final. Daniel was losing 3:7 and it looked like the match was decided. However, Sanjin made a mistake. Macioł scored the fourth point and then played three games without a mistake. In the last rack, both were at the table several times, but the Pole turned out to be better. The audience was delighted. Bronze medals were won by Denis Grabe (EST) and Petri Makkonen (FIN). The top eight athletes also included: Tomasz Kapłan (POL), Fitim Faradinaj (KOS), Alexandros Kazakis (GRE) and Mieszko Fortuński (POL).
For the first time in the history of the WPA World Cup, a large group of competitors from the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Finland and Norway took part. This happened thanks to cooperation with the East European Billiard Council.
