Karol Skowerski (POL) is the winner of the Hungarian Open 2012. In the final he defeated Mateusz Śniegocki (POL), 9-3. Bronze medals went to Ioan Ladany (ROM) and Novo Serafimovsky (MAC).
Local hosts (Fordan Centre) and tournament management prepared very good playing conditions for players whom enjoyed the event. The referees were: Piotr Kaminski and Waldemar Debski.
Medals and trophies were presented by the Board Member of WPA, the Tournament Director – Mr Marcin Krzeminski and the owner of the Club – Mr Laszlo Varga.
Players from 9 countries started the first of the Dynamic Best of the East Series 2012.

Our friend, Marcin Krzeminski became a member of the Board of World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS).

This year the winner of Polish Pool Billiard Ranking will get a white Chevrolet Spark.
The prize was founded by four companies: Brzesc, Cleaner, WiK and Konsalnet. Players collect points in Polish Grand Prix WiK POL TOUR and in Polish Championships. It will turn out in December 2012 who will become the owner of the car. In recent years M. Sniegocki won Opel Corsa, R. Babica received keys to Chevrolet Spark and K. Piekarski got Fiat Punto.
The first international tournament organized by European Billiard Council gathered 15 000 people who watched the games in the shopping center - Galeria Echo. It had never happened before! The winners became Katarzyna Wesołowska & Radosław Babica ( Nosan–Galeria Echo Kielce).

First Day appeared to be really successful. First success belonged to the couple – Ivan Kamieniarski & Agata Sidło – who defeated their opponents – from Estonia. After the match – Ivan said:” I did not expect that we could win with such good players. I simply love this sport and wanted to enjoy the time while playing in this beautiful surrounding – I did not assume we could win with the Estonian couple”. When it comes to other players – none of the favorites let us down – K.Stiepanov & N.Sieroshtan (RUS), R.Babica & K.Wesolowska (POL), A.Koshevoy & V.Nagornaya (UKR)-all still in game.
Today hundreds of people could watch the competition, around 200 participated in games organized by the organizers in special pool venue prepared in another part of the shopping center.

Taiwan’s Chang Jun Lin became the World Champion after beating Fu 11-6.
Two players from the same country appeared to be the best in 8-ball World Championship in Fujairah.
Final game: CHANG JUN LIN vs FU CHE WEI at 5:00 PM (local time), race to 11, alternate break.
Both players - from the beginning played on high-level.
