The group of youth and trainers from Slovakia came to Poland as part of the International Billiard Academy program. They played the matches in Debica, Bilcza, Bodzentyn and Kielce. 45 people took part in the event.
94 players took part in the third in this season tournament of Polish Grand Prix WiK POL TOUR. Beside Polish players we could also watch guests from Lithuania and one guest from USA. Mieszko Fortunski defeated in a final match Wojciech Szewczyk 6:3 and became the winnner.
The board of EPBF was influenced by the federations from Eastern Europe and awarded the federations for the medals won at the junior European Championships. Our postulate from the General Meeting in Portoroz was fulfilled, though the amount of prize money first assumed was decreased. It looks really bad when the federation gets 75 Euro for the bronze medal of its player, while the entry fee is 110 Euro!!! The board of EPBF should think about it. Can we still call it a 'proper prize' when its lower than entry fee? Our suggestion was between 110 € and 150 €.
More than 100 young people took part in the second Mak Marketing Junior Tour, which took place in "Frame" club in Lodz. 73 boys and 39 girls joined the competition.
During the congress in Turkey, International World Games Association has accepted the list of the sport disciplines at WG 2017, which will take place in the Polish city - Wroclaw.
Amongst thos disciplines is also billiard, what means that World Confederation of Billiard Sports has completed the obligations imposed by International Olympic Commitee, SportAccord and World Anti Doping Agency. In 2017 the best players will compete in pool, carom and snooker.
European Billiard Council has the office manager. Paulina Zabek has the university education and was chosen amongst 50 applicants.
She will be responsible for preparing the schedule of the board of EBC and realising the sport projects of the organisation.
Jakub Koniar from Lovos Bratislava got the gold medal in 14/1 during the Championships of Slovakia. In a final match Koniar defeated Jaroslav Polach from SBK Komarno 100:42.
In semifinals they were better than their team friends: Koniar won with Miachal Fuka 100:21 and Polach defeated Koles Balzas 100:32. The tournament took place in Ruzomberok.
15 juniors played in the next competition of Junior Cup cycle. The best of them were young billiard players from KS Kings Trencin - Mattia Skodinu and Sebastian Hladky. In the final of 8-ball Skodinu won with Hladky 5:0. Kristian Mrva from Horses B. Presov and Daniel Land from BC Mostel Liptovsky got the third place.

There was a perfect atmosphere during the meeting of the mayor of the Morawica Community - Marian Buras and the president of EBC - Marcin Krzeminski. They were talking about international sport youth exchange program.
