Another meeting of participants of Academy for Billiard Champions (ABC) took place in Bucharest.
The leading issue of the training in Romania was “Strategic planning and fundraising” for national billiard federations. Another raised topic related to anti-doping activities was presented by the board member of WCBS – Marcin Krzeminski. Representatives of national billiard federations from Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Czech Republic take part in ABC Program which is supported by EU.
Ralf Souquet from Germany was chosen the best player in Europe.
Votes of national federations, partners and activists of EPBF decided about his victory. Jasmin Ouschan won in open voting but her sports achievements weren't appraised as high as Ralf's.
"I am very glad of the voting course. In 2009 we had 283 votes casted. Two years later we have over 1 240 votes." said Marcin Krzeminski - EPBF Development Manager and also person responsible for voting organizing. Congratulations for the winner and all nominated players!

The first meeting of coordination group of European Pool-billiard Training Project took place in Sofia.
Every year the referees award the nicest players of the European Championships.
This year this title went to Katarzyna Wesolowska (POL) and Vitaly Pavlukhin (RUS).
As we can see we have not only talented but nice players as well.
The players from Eastern Europe got eleven medals during European Championships which took place in Luxembourg.
The best score was achieved by players from Russia who won 7 medals (1 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze). Polish players collected one gold medal, Ukrainian team got one silver medal and team from Estonia and Albania, each won 1 bronze medal. Congratulations for all competitors.

Today is the last day of EC in Luxembourg
