III Pyramid Tour in Czech Republic

2012 EBC PYRAMID TOUR

SLOVAKIA - POLAND - CZECH REPUBLIC

30 players from 10 countries took part in III EBC Pyramid Tour. The event took place in Billiard Center in Prague. Gaig Aratunian, Russian who lives in Czech Rep. won the main trophy. He beat Vitaly Zelbersher from Germany in the final 3:1. Dieter Johns (USA) got the bronze medal.

“It is fantastic situation when the people who love pyramid, travel a thousands of kilometers because they wnat to take part in international competition.  Men from Germany, Spain,  Russian, Ukraine, Kazakhstan , USA and Poland  met in the Billiard Center. Thank you for the new experience and good hospitality provided by Veniamin Yakovlev- local organizer” – said Marcin Krzeminski, the president of European Billiard Council.

The tournament in Prague was the last event of the series 2012 EBC Pyramid Tour. Before that players competed in Slovakia and Poland.  The EBC is planning to organize 5 events in 2013 ( Czech Rep., Slovakia, Germany, Spain, Poland ).
