Wojciech Szewczyk Triumphs in Kętrzyn! 243rd Predator Pol Tour Grand Prix Behind Us

Following record-breaking events in Gdańsk and Łódź, the elite of Polish billiards gathered in Kętrzyn and Mrągowo. Out of over 90 competitors, Wojciech Szewczyk (GKS Katowice) emerged unrivaled in the 9-ball discipline.
It took 182 matches to determine the winner of this year's third tour stop. The field included top-ranked players such as Radosław Babica and Mariusz Skoneczny. Szewczyk dominated the group stage with three decisive wins. His toughest challenge came in the playoffs against young talent Wojciech Głąb, where the former World Champion narrowly escaped with a 6-5 victory in a hill-hill thriller.

In the final, Szewczyk delivered a masterclass, defeating Patryk Statkiewicz (Strefa Diamond Gdańsk) 6-0. This marks Szewczyk’s 14th career Grand Prix title. Despite the loss, it was a milestone for Statkiewicz, who celebrated his first-ever Pol Tour final.
