On Sunday, September 27, 132 juniors gathered at the Frame club in Łódź to compete in the third Poison Junior Tour tournament. Among the 90 boys, Ksawery Marcinkowski from Fortis Bilard Kielce emerged as the winner. Joining him on the podium were Cezary Pulcyn from Cue Club Kołobrzeg, as well as Mateusz Sadlik from Trójkąt Rzeszów and Jakub Zakrzewski from UKS Lutnia Konstantynów Łódzki. In the girls' category, Julia Cabała from UKS Fair Play Jaworzno won once again. Julia Przeorska from UKS Promyk Czerniewice finished second, while Marta Staroń (also from Promyk) and Natalia Matysiak from Zakręcona Bila Poznań took third place.

In a month, we will learn the final results of the year-long junior competition and see who has securely qualified for the Polish Championship finals. As always, the officiating team did an outstanding job; thanks to their efficiency, the tournament was successfully completed in a single day.

Trzecie krajowe rozdanie juniorów.

W niedzielę 27 września 132 juniorów spotkało się w klubie Frame w Łodzi, gdzie rywalizowało w trzecim turnieju Poison Junior Tour. Spośród 90 chłopców najlepszym okazał się Ksawery Marcinkowski z Fortisu Bilard Kielce. Obok niego na podium stanęli: Cezaru Pulcyn z Cue Club Kołobrzeg oraz Mateusza Sadlik z Trójkąta Rzeszów i Jakub Zakrzewski z UKS Lutnia Konstantynów Łódzki. Wśród dziewcząt ponownie wygrała Julia Cabała z UKS Fair Play Jaworzno. Druga była Julia Przeorska z UKS Promyk Czerniewice, a trzecie Marta Staroń z Promyka i Natalia Matysiak z Zakręconej Bili Poznań.

 

Za miesiąc poznamy końcowe wyniki rocznej rywalizacji juniorów i dowiemy się kto pewnie awansuje do finałów mistrzostw Polski. Podziękowania dla klubu Frame, sponsorów : Predator Group, Kamui i Mak Marketing. Jak zwykle na medal spisała się ekipa sędziowska, dzięki sprawności której udało się zawody rozegrać w jeden dzień.

Patryk Statkiewicz has won the Dynamic Billard Best of the East – Ajara Cup 2026. In the tournament held in Batumi, the Polish player defeated home representative Nodar Bakradze 7:6 in the final. The closing stages of the event were exceptionally close, with both semifinals also ending 7:6.

On September 19–20, Batumi hosted the third tournament of this year’s Dynamic Billard Best of the East series. Players from Georgia, Poland, Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic and Turkey took part in the competition. Due to the large number of participants, matches on the opening day were played simultaneously at two venues – Piramide Billiard Club and Oponent Club.

Great emotions in the decisive matches.

Following Saturday’s group stage, the knockout phase began on Sunday. As the tournament progressed, the stakes increased and so did the atmosphere around the tables.

The final matches were played in a particularly lively environment created by Georgian supporters together with the Polish guests. The crowd reacted enthusiastically to the action, with the semifinal involving the home representative producing especially strong emotions.

Nodar Bakradze defeated Jeremi Nowak 7:6, securing Georgia a place in the final. The second semifinal was equally close and was also decided in the final rack, with Patryk Statkiewicz beating Mariusz Skoneczny 7:6.

The final once again required all thirteen racks. Statkiewicz and Bakradze reached 6:6, leaving the title to be decided in the final rack. In the end, Patryk Statkiewicz won 7:6 and lifted the Ajara Cup trophy.

“For most of the day I couldn’t quite find my best form and I felt a little heavy at the table. Before the final, however, I told myself that I simply wanted to enjoy playing billiards, and that worked. Especially because the atmosphere was fantastic,” said Patryk Statkiewicz, winner of the third Dynamic Billard Best of the East event of the 2026 season.

For the Polish player, victory in Batumi is also an important step ahead of his next tournaments.

“My main goal is to qualify for the Polish Championships, so the tournament in Kielce during the Polish Open will be very important for me. I will do my best to achieve the strongest possible result there,” added the Batumi champion.

Georgian billiards continues to make progress

The tournament was another important event for Georgia’s developing billiards community. Temur Kakhidze, head of the Ajara Billiard Federation, believes the effects of cooperation with the East European Billiard Council are becoming increasingly visible.

“We have now completed three events co-organized with the East European Billiard Council, and I am proud that we continue to make progress with every tournament. The results of this year’s event are the best proof of that. Georgian players made up half of the play-off field, and our representative reached the final, losing only in the deciding rack. This is a major success for us.I would like to thank all the players for taking part, and above all EEBC President Marcin Krzemiński for his trust, support and cooperation in organizing the tournament in Batumi. We want to keep developing, and we promise that we will do even better at the next edition,” said Temur Kakhidze.

Third event of the series of 2026 Dynamic Billiard Best of the East will be held in Batumi. We have 71 participants from: Poland, Czechia, Azerbeijan, Romania and Georgia. 

Matches of the event will start on Saturday -September 19th.  Georgia is a lucky country for Mariusz Skoneczny. He won twice in Batumi and onese in Tbilisi. 

Trzeci turniej Dynamic Bilard Best of the East odbędzie się w Batumi w dniach 19-20 września. Na dzisiaj zarejestrowanych jest 71 zawodników z Polski, Czech, Rumunii, Azerbejdżanu i Gruzji. Mecze wystartują w sobotę. Gruzja jest szczęśliwym krajem dla Mariusza Skonecznego.  W ostatnich trzech latach wygrał dwa turnieje w Batumi i jeden w Tbilisi.

245th Predator POL TOUR 8-Ball. 

The fifth tournament of the Predator POL TOUR Polish Grand Prix series will begin on Saturday, September 5, at the Strefa club in Łódź. 142 players signed up for the tournament. Immediately before the event, club owner Krzysztof Gardjas commissioned the replacement of the cloth on the 60 billiard tables designated for the tournament. The players will have ideal playing conditions. The tournament in Łódź is the 245th in the history of the series. The 2025 event was won by Wojciech Szewczyk, who defeated Szymon Kural in the final; Wiktor Fortuński and Tomasz Kapłan also made the podium.  We will find out the winner of the 2026 tournament on Sunday around 5:00 PM.

Piąty turniej serii Grand Prix Polski Predator POL TOUR rozpocznie się w sobotę 5 września w klubie Strefa w Łodzi. Do gry zgłosiło się 142 zawodników. Właściciel klubu Krzysztof Gardjas bezpośrednio przed zawodami zlecił wymianę sukna na 60 stołach bilardowych przeznaczonych do turnieju. Zawodnicy będą mieli idealne warunki do gry. Turniej w Łodzi jest 245 turniejem w historii cyklu. W 2025 roku zawody wygrał Wojciech Szewczyk, który w finale pokonał Szymona Kurala. na podium stanęli także Wiktor Fortuński i Tomasz Kapłan. Zwycięzcę turnieju 2026 poznamy w niedzielę około godziny 17.00.

The 2026 EEBC Championship concluded with a fantastic final performance by Mariusz Skoneczny. He defeated Szymon Kural 9–0 in just 37 minutes. Szymon is ranked 14th in the WPA rankings. In the semi-final, Skoneczny beat Daniel Macioł (ranked 3rd by the WPA) 9–2. Macioł (POL) and Jakub Chrobot (POL) finished the championships with a bronze medal. Chrobot is the 2024 Junior World Champion and a bronze medalist at the WPA Junior World Championships in 2023 and 2025.

64 athletes took part in the main tournament. They came to Debica from seven countries: Moldova, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, and Poland.

Innovation 2 tables were set up in the sports hall made available to us by the Mayor of Dębica. The product of Min Company received very good ratings from the competitors.

We played with Aramith Tournament balls on Iwan Simonis 860 cloth.

The live broadcast was shown on the TVSports.pl YouTube channel. Results are available at www.ebc-billiard.com. The press office distributed information about the tournament to approximately 500 outlets.

EEBC has a new junior champion ! It is Kaswery Marcinkowski from Poland ( Fortis Kielce). Runner-up is Adam Pałczynski (Poland) also from Firtis. Bronze medalists are Adam Skulec form Slovakia ( BK Horses Presov) and Wiktor Kaczmarek  from Poland ( Akademia Bilardowa Rokietnica).  The championship took place in Debica and took part 48 juniors from: Czech Rep., Romania, Moldova, Georgia, Slovakia, Ukraine and Poland. 

I'm very proud of friends' hard work.  After several years of work, significant progress is evident in the quality of the juniors' game said president of the EEBC Marcin Krzeminski. 

The EEBC Championships are a celebration of regional billiards. The ceremonial break was performed by EEBC Vice-Presidents Jaroslav Horenovsky and Samuel Koniar, along with the 2025 defending champion, Mark Szabo.

The championships are played on Innovation 2 tables from the Korean company Min.
